Founded in 2020, PeaceMindED is rooted in research and academic projects developed within Columbia University's Clinical Psychology department. Inspired by integrative educational studies, PeaceMindED is built on the belief that every educator should have access to tools that foster mindfulness and peace in the classroom. Our mission is to create peaceful learning environments through innovative mindfulness resources and professional development tools specifically designed for elementary educators. Our Team
At PeaceMindED, we are proud to have a team of dedicated professionals committed to fostering mindfulness and peace in education. Ivy League graduates create and review our resources and programs, bringing a deep understanding of clinical psychology and educational practices. Our team includes Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) experts, curriculum specialists, and educators with decades of experience in the field.
We are also guided by the insights of founding members of CASEL (the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning) and other leading figures in the education industry. This collaborative effort ensures that every tool and resource we offer is practical and impactful in real-world classrooms.
